I, parents and my Career Counselling


Gone are the days, where parent’s duty to children limited to providing good life 
and fulfilling their basic needs. With the fast changing world, even the responsibilities 
of parents require huge change. Growing expectations of parents, increasing pressure
of tough competition on children creates the necessities of proper career counselling.

It’s fact that career counselling for a student plays vital role but must not deny that active
involvement of a parents is also required in it.. Along with the children, parents presence in 
career counselling, helps in choosing the right career in easier way. It develops in the child 
strong, clear, importance and value towards its career. Thus, avoids any further distractions 
in child mind due to the various circumstances.

Thus, in today's competitive world, participation of parents with their children during career 
counselling is must and been recommended. This participation guides their children for 
choosing right career better way. Moreover it helps the career counselor in counselling and 
suggesting in the best way by understanding the child interest, parent’s expectations, their 
financial position and family background.

Students require more attention, support, suggestion therefore with the involvement 
of parents,  good advice of career counselor can give better career to our children.

Every student wishes to start their career life with all, that they have dream so far (e.g. Reputed company, good job profile and handsome salary) unfortunately only few of them succeed and many fail. Many students fail to spot the golden opportunity all because of their performance in an interview.
