Effective Group discussion


This is specially for  the freshers who are seeking jobs and for the students,
Effective participation is required, when we are a part of group discussions and
following points are to be considered:
  
Primary skills of the candidates  which are checked generally during the Group discussions are:
  • Good level of Knowledge
  • Good knowledge and use of contents
  • Effective Communication
  • Tackling other team members with respect.

Do's
  • Must be cool, to tackle the problems and situations
  • Must take initiative in resolving the discussion
  • Full and effective utilization of  time
  • Must act matured and wise way
  • Prove your good leadership qualities
  • Shares the original and relevant idea's
  • Be Positive.

Don't's:
  • Do not have the negative approach
  • Do not show excessive body language
  • Do not do finger Point
  • Avoid making late entry
  • Do not get Confused with the topics
  • Must not speak irrelevant.
  • Must not cut others sentence
  • Do not be rigid.

Always prefer either to be a initiator or concluder which can give additional points to the participants,
but avoid being a butcher(one who cuts other sentence) or facilitator(one who allows others to speak).

These are the above points which can help the students in preparing for their group discussion.
