Know the difference between Friendship and Career Opportunity

Lavanya and vidya were the best friends, since school days. After completion of MBA in finance, They applied for the jobs in a reputed IT company of Bangalore, In an interview Lavanya was selected and vidya got rejected. Lavanya got offered for the position of finance executive with good salary. But vidya was quite disappointed for her rejection.

They both were upset, as were not able to click together in an interview. On the day of joining, Lavanya rejected the job offer for the sake of friendship. Her parents tried to advise her, but all was in vain.

Similar to the  above, In a growing IT company Mahi joined as an accountant and became very good friend of Tanya. A year latter Mahi was promoted to higher level with good career opportunity and high package but Tanya remained the same.

Few days latter Tanya and Mahi reisigned from their job and joined small company with very less package.  Reason behind leaving good job of a reputed company and joining small company was only, that, they had decided to work together and as Tanya did not get promotion and Mahi felt better to resign than working as senior to her close friend Tanya ……

The above two incident are based on  real story. Such type of mistake is committed, mostly by freshers  or person who are not serious with their career and job. Leaving their career far behind for the sake of friendship, is not wise. Priority for career is must.

When opportunity comes, must not be given up for no reason. Persons, like Lavanya and Mahi cannot be, consider to be the true career oriented person. Because person with aim and ambition know well the value of the opportunity and their priority.

Do justice with yourself

Lakshmi, is a house wife stays, in Pune along with her husband and a two year old daughter.
With all comfort and luxury life, she is much happy and content with her four year old married life.

She is a supportive wife; a dotting mother, good daughter and caring daughter in law. Her life
revolves within her family and friend and in all this, sometimes, it becomes very difficult for her
to identify herself in the mirror all alone.

Lakshmi is a graduate in English and had her many plans and goals before her marriage but once
married, she locked all her plans and life goals in a box and buried it in itself forever? When
spoken to her, all about it, was much surprise to know she was one of the luckiest women to have
an understanding husband who gave her all freedom and liberty to do.

Unfortunately she wants to make her own identity but lacks self determination in her. Stills she
plans in her mind many things to do for herself but have no courage to take a step further.

This is not only the life story of Lakshmi alone, but millions of women who just plans every day
but hesitate to implement it anytime. The reason could be anything but a fact is lack of determination,
day dreams, lack of courage, fear to struggle and many more….

I wonder in present fast moving world with all modern facilities and comfort zone, Most of the
house wife spends their precious time in gossips, talking over the phone and watching TV, if
any time still left, then it is spends in shopping.

Every life is meant for some purpose, within our own daily schedule, it’s is recommended for
house wives to have some time for themselves which will help them in their personality growth
ultimately family growth.

Utilising few hours in a day for themselves, in learning something new,
can help in boosting their confidence and  self development.

Time to think all about you.

Most Outstanding Woman Entrepreneur

“Jab upar walle ne Zindagi ek bar dhi hai jeene k liye tho do baar sochna kya”.

Yes, I am talking about Ekta Kapoor, creative head of Balaji Telefilms. She is renowned actor Jeetendra’s pampered daughter and proud sister of actor Tushar Kapoor.

Few facts of Ekta kapoor would surprise all of us, that during her childhood she suffered from extreme obese and from low self esteem. she was below an average student of Bombay Scottish school and Mithibai College. Her only interest was watching television, which she did whenever she could.

But who knew that one day the same aimless girl who did not believe in excellence or hard work, will become the reign queen of Indian television industry.

As she was least interested in higher studies, At the age of 16 she joined the company of Kailash Surendranath, the ad/feature-filmmaker. But failed to succeed her career in it.

After her bachelor’s degree in Commerce, and under the advice and financial backing of her father, Ekta started up her production house, Balaji Telefilms, in 1994. Where hardly she gained an average recognisation.

The twist in her career took place in the year 2000, where Ekta managed to catch and ride the wave of satellite television revolution in India, to an amazing results.

She introduced Indian television audiences  like “kyonki saas bhi kabhi bahu thi” and many more “K”  tag daily serial soap, at a time when weekly episodes were the order of the day.

When talking about her achievement, Ekta was awarded with Ernst & Young (E&Y) “Start up Entrepreneur Of The Year award in 2001.”

At the 6th Indian Telly Awards 2006, She bagged the Hall Of Fame award for her contributions and awarded for her entrepreneurial skills and achievements.

Her quest for success did not end up within the televisions boundaries but  she  also dared to venture as a producer for several hindi movies. Despite being failed several time, she did not give up anytime, and her years struggle and hard work was paid with list of block buster movies  like  “Kya Kool Hai Hum, Shootout at Lokhandwala. Love sex and Dhoka, Ragini MMS, once upon a time in Mumbai and who can forget her latest Dirty Picture.”

When talking about Ekta’s entrepreneurship and leadership qualities, which contributed to her outstanding success is her complete hands-on manager. From source of information, she closely involves with every aspect of her serials, be it the script, cast, sets, the dress and make-up of the characters, or the marketing of serials.

And most important as head of Balaji Telefilms, she supervises a team of associate, creative directors and executive producers. And most surprising a fact is personally she auditioned the actors who played the various parts in the serials, as she believes strongly, she has a knack for choosing the right faces for the right parts.............

These were the few information about Ekta Kapoor, whose journey started with several failures and disappointment but now seems no end to her success and achievement.

Accept the criticism

We must learn to accept criticism in positive way rather than taking in negative.

Example; In the above video clip, had she would have taken the words of small boy in negative, then she wouldn't have been able to improve her orange colour hair to an attractive black silky hair.

This lesson is to be applied not only in personal but professional life too.

Sanjay 22 year old, was happy and content with his graduation degree in BSC physics. He was completely involved in his father whole sale rice business, Sanjay was considered to be a perfect future businessman because of his excellent communication and smart thinking.

One day his closed relative arrived at Sanjay house. Relative was very proud to announce that his son similar to Sanjay age has completed his Bachelor of Engineering from a reputed college and now he is working with reputed Multi national Company with much high salary. Then pointed out Sanjay’s low qualification and achievement. Sanjay felt bad, was almost speechless as he knew that his relative was right from his side.

That whole day Sanjay mind was not in peace, Relative went and few days latter, Sanjay decided to Leave his father business and wanted to study BE to make his own identity, At the beginning, his father was quite upset with his decision but latter  accepted it.

Sanjay enrolled himself in  an entrance exam coaching class and gave all his best to click in the entrance test,  despite of people criticism and mock  he concentrated in his preparation, A year latter his hard work was paid, got admission in an reputed Engineering college as per his required field.  And then got a good job in n reputed company with good salary.

Today he is well settled and has become the example for success and hard work within his family and friend. And where his father never stop himself from chanting mantra of his son achievement wherever he could.

Moral
If Sanjay would have taken such criticism in negative way, never he would been able to achieve what he got today. If taken in negative, he would have further stopped talking to his relative, and taking in competition aspects, would have been able to expand his father business but never would have become an example for others. He did not take it in jealousy or competition way between himself and  relative son but  wisely realized the importance of own identity and achievement.

Creativity is required in teaching

History is been considered all time boring subject among most of the students. But can be made interesting by presenting it in a new way, thus similar to the above add, How  mother is teaching to her child in beautiful and interesting way, the same Teachers must learn to teach their subject every time in a different way, which will make the class more interesting and will be in the mind of student forever.

Teaching is a noble Profession where teachers build not only the students career but builds the nation too. It’s a psychology that student choose their career depending on their interest of subject.  Where subject interest is generated mostly by the way subject is taught in the class.

The role of teachers is not limited to only to the completion of their syllabus course within the assigned period but extends till the students understands and  takes interests  in their subjects.

Struggle makes one self strong and successful

A man found a cocoon of a butterfly. One day a small opening appeared; man sat and watched the butterfly for several hours as it was struggling to force its body to come out of the little hole. Seeing its struggle man decided to help the butterfly.

So with scissors, he carefully snipped off the remaining bit of the cocoon. This helped butterfly, easy to emerged out of it. But it had a swollen body and small, shriveled wings.

After few hours, man found butterfly not able to enlarge its wing and  expand to support the body. He understood his mistake and felt himself guilt for it. Thus butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling around with swollen body and shriveled wings.

Man wanted to help butterfly and forgot that the restricting cocoon and the struggle required for the butterfly to get through the tiny opening were nature's way of forcing fluid from the body of the butterfly into its wings so that it would be ready for flight once it achieved its freedom from the cocoon.

Sometimes struggles are exactly what we need in our life. If nature allowed us to go through our life without any obstacles, it would cripple us. We would not be as strong as what we could have been.

“No Pain No Gain” This is what our life means, Nothing can be achieved without burning our self with struggle and pain. Person who comes out of such struggle and pain is rewarded with all they wished for, so long.

Never Give up

Bijoy, Ajheet  were childhood friend, got admission in B com. They chosen their career as a  chartered accountant and thus enrolled themselves for CA foundation exam along with their many friends. Where Bijoy  and Ajheet were abe to clear the CA foundation exam, there many of their friends failed to do so.

Thus after four year Bijoy completed his CA final and got placed in good company. Few of their friend opted for further studies like M com, MBA, CS and few opted for joining their father business, but Ajheet decided to continue his studies for CA, after several attempt also he was not able to complete his CA final, then he decides to do job simultaneously with his CA studies.

Several time failed in clearing his CA final exam and Ajheet  never let himself down, With strong determination he decided to write his CA exam till he succeed.

Thus after 10 year he was rewarded for his hard work, was able to complete and get
his CA degree, though took time but with his strong will and determination he achieved what he wanted. He was the real fighter and not like his friend who gave up the idea of doing CA after being failed.

Everyone is different from other with their own capabilities and skills, some one is intelligent, someone is an average but matter more is how  far one is able to reach his goal without giving up. Fighter always wins.

Prepare yourself, To avail better opportunities

In a field one summer's day a Grasshopper was hopping about, chirping and singing to its heart's content. An Ant passed by, bearing along with great effort an ear of corn he was taking to the nest.

"Why not come and chat with me," said the Grasshopper, "instead of toiling and moiling away?" "I am helping to lay up food for the winter," said the Ant, "and recommend you to do the same." "Why bother about winter?" said the Grasshopper; "we have got plenty of food at present."

But the Ant went on its way and continued its toil. When the winter came the Grasshopper found itself dying of hunger, while it saw the ants distributing, every day, corn and grain from the stores they had collected in the summer.

Then grasshopper understood his mistakes and learnt lesson from it.

The above story  seems simple but teaches many thing.  how in the above an ant is storing food for the winter, The same way, Final year student must do the preparation for their good career. Once student enter into a final year, must start preparing for their bright career. Following are the details on which student should work on them

  • Must improve their communication
  • Must know how to attend the interview
  • Must know Do’s n Don’t while attending interview
  • Should have strong subject knowledge
  • Must start updating oneself with current updates and news.
  • Must start improving their weakness

The one who makes themselves ready are the person who will avail more opportunities than any other. All final year student must learn lesson from the above story and must start preparing to work on themselves at the earliest.

Know the importance of time in our life

There was a trader in a village, who was quite upset with his son behavior. he was aimless and had habit of escaping from works. One day as trader was not well, requested his son to go to the city market for supplying the material at his customer place. With much unwillingness son went to the market for completing the given task. Once he completed the assigned job he decided to round the market.

He found the huge crowd with bustling shops and heavy noisy. There was hardly any space to take another step. He got interest to find articles available in the market And therefore he decided to move ahead in the crowded area, as he hardly took another step he heard a voice which sounded him very strange.

A person was  calling out loudly saying that  “In the name of Alah! please buy some time from me, soon” on hearing this he was not able to control himself and started moving  fast in the direction from where the sound was coming....the more near he was approaching the voice was more clear and louder  and seller was repeating the same thing again again in loud. When he reached that place, to his surprise he saw a man as a seller, was actually trying, to sell his ice slides by saying "In the name of Alah! please buy some time from me, soon. From this, boy realised that life of human is similar to an ice which keeps melting day by day.

Thus he realised the time value and decided to give meaning to his life by working hard.

Dear all, Life is just like an ice which keeps melting, proper utilisation of it
Only can give true meaning of our life………So know the value of life and give
Purpose to it.
.

Two options to Live

Never way will find you, its all  us,  have to  find our way!

From real Story:

Chotu and Gopal belonged to the native of jharkand, eastern part of India. Because of poverty they were like any other millions of children in India, dropped out from the school before completion of their basic education by their own.

In search of the job there destiny brought them to Chennai, with no education and skill they started working as a sweeper in a small restaurant of Chennai. A year latter, Chotu was promoted as a waiter in the same restaurant whereas Gopal got new job as a sweeper in a private library. Where Chotu was content with his waiter job, there Gopal was not, every time he used to curse his fate and blame God for giving such life. A year passed by Chotu got new job as a waiter in another restaurant with good hike in his salary. And Gopal remained as a sweeper in the same private library.

One day while cleaning the library, few books fell off the book shelf, Gopal in fear of his seniors scolding started to collect those books  in hurry, to place them in right shelf while collecting so, he started  reading the books title with all English he learnt in his primary school, latter he found that he kept all those book exactly in the right shelf and felt happy. That whole night he did not sleep thinking all about the morning incident. Same night he decided to change his fate by studying  further in way of part time.

Though it was difficult for him in initial days, to concentrate in studies because of various circumstances and  managing time between his  studies and job but with strong determination and hard work he was able to overcome all the hurdles. He made all his weakness as a strength, he utilized the library book in the absence of the staff members and left no stone unturned in improving his English. At-last, his hard work was paid, he completed his 12th class successfully with an average marks.

Seeing his enthusiasms and dedication towards his studies, management of library offered him the job as an office boy. Gopal continued his studies with his job and after 5 year he got his post graduate degree  Master in English.

One of the  senior staff member of library  got  him the job as public relation officer in a small Pvt company of Chennai and  after five year  he became the  Manager  in a reputed company with much high salary and thereafter no looking back in his life.

Today Gopal is happily married well settled, leading a respectful and luxury life. He is recognized as a real hero within his family and friends. Whereas Chotu is running his small tea stall in the outskirt of  kolkata, he is married having four children but not well settled, he is still surrounded with his financial problems and liabilities, to lessen his burden his wife assists  him in his work.  His elder son works in a small Pvt company as a sweeper, ultimately  one day, will become another chotu just  like his father.

Moral:

We all have options to lead a better life, but apart to do so we opt to blame others
for every cause of our life. And this how our life moves on but never ever we moves
in our life. Our daily life incidents, gives us many lesson but we fail to learn from them
Because as already we have wrapped our brain with several negative aspects. in facts
We wish to fly and dream to dive but too lazy to even step, out of our own limited boundaries.
