Due to the lack of
proper counselling in colleges or
incomplete information from faculty members makes students to opt for the
courses which is known in common. Most of the students after completion of
their B.Sc physics opts for M.sc Physics, Master in computer application (MCA)
or MBA, MSC Biophysics, GRE. but besides the above courses I would like to add
one more suitable course which is known as Astrophysics course, have wide range
of scope in India
Astrophysics can be
studied at the bachelors, masters, and Ph.D. levels in aerospace engineering,
physics, or astronomy departments at many universities.
In details, Astrophysics
is the branch of astronomy that deals with the physics of the universe,
including the physical properties (luminosity, density, temperature, and
chemical composition) of celestial objects such as galaxies, stars, planets,
exo planets, and the interstellar medium, as well as their interactions. The
study of cosmology is theoretical astrophysics at scales much larger than the
size of particular gravitationally-bound objects in the universe.
Individual on
completion of this course can become scientist in ISRO or can go abroad in
research and development field.
