tips should be considered in handling office phone.
- Prefer to speak clearly and slowly.
- Inform caller before putting them on hold.
- Do not forget to thank caller for waiting.
- Receive incoming phone without much
delay.
- Avoid the habit to interrupt the person
while he/she is talking.
- Do not answer the phone if you are
eating or chewing gum.
- Do not give rush sign to close the
telephone conversation.
- Reply without delay the calls promptly
that have been left on voice mail or answer phones.
- Always offer to leave a message
- Always end with” Thank you for your
call" or "It was nice speaking with you".
